The Printmaking Center of New Jersey (PCNJ) is an award-winning non-profit arts center founded in 1973. It remains the only open printmaking studio in the state of New Jersey and provides a full range of vital and unique services and programs for artists and the general public.

PCNJCustom WordPress theme

For this project I worked closely with the center’s team to create a clean and simple experience for their website. We moved the entire content from the previous version into a WordPress install.

I built a custom theme that provided a lot of flexibility and allowed the team to focus on the website’s content. The theme features custom widgets and new image galleries.

Furthermore, I integrated the existing Facebook page, a new Google Calendar for events and programs and made it easier to update the art portfolio.

With a revamped design and back-end functionality offered by WordPress the team at PCNJ is now capable of updating areas such as Exhibitions, Sales, Education, Get Involved and Blog, just to name a few.

PayPal integration

We developed a workflow to integrate PayPal payment buttons for classes and professional development workshops. The pages, under the Education area, contain full descriptions for each class with images and schedules.

I offered technical support after publishing the website and maintained a close professional relationship with the staff and director.

I also provided one-on-one training to a designated team member. I showed how to update the content and created a series of video tutorials and documentation to help with future maintenance process.

Client Satisfaction

Fabio built our organization’s website, paying close attention to our goals, while at the same time, offering us valuable suggestions on how to broaden our thinking to enhance outcomes. He is a dream to work with. He was responsive to our questions and completed the project on-time and on-budget. On-going technical support has always been favorable. I will continue to turn to Fabio for all future website projects.
